Garmin Quest 2 Portable Weatherproof Handheld GPS with MapSource City Maps Review

I love the fact that this units fits in a shirt pocket and can run for many hours on one recharge. I bought it to replace my Garmin Quest that was lost/stolen. Unlike the original Quest, this one holds all of North America (no more reloading maps every time I travel). However, I have noticed that the Quest 2 (compared with the original Quest) is slower calculating routes, finding things, and refreshing the map as you travel. I suspect this is because of the increased memory (the amount of data it has to go through). For me the speed is acceptable but you can wait for 30 seconds or so while it plots longer routes. If you love portable use and small units for traveling, get this one, unless you are impatient with these things.

Buy it here now!
